Jocelyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and graduated from UALR in 2018 with her MSW. She has been in practice for over 9 years. She has experience in many different settings including community mental health, school based mental health, child advocacy centers, and private practice along with options for telehealth.
She is a Cabot, AR native and attended K-12 at Cabot Public Schools. She is eager to be able to give back to the same community that gave her roots.
Jocelyn believes it is important to be a safe place and refuge for her clients and that the power of healing in therapy largely comes from the relationship a client, of any age, has with their therapist. With this, Jocelyn finds it important to meet the client where they are, develop goals based on the client’s individual needs, and ensure clients have a positive therapy experience where they feel heard and seen, and experience that change is possible.
Jocelyn is trained in EMDR I&II, CPT, TF-CBT (CTG, CT) and CPP, all of which are evidence based treatments. She works with all ages across the lifespan and specializes in the treatment of trauma, and particularly in the treatment of pediatric trauma. She treats a wide variety of difficulties and life situations including adjustment issues, grief and loss, child abuse and neglect, crime victims, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, self esteem, womens issues, and parenting.
Jocelyn enjoys being outside with her plants and her pets, avoiding paperwork of any kind. You can find her taking long walks down the aisles of Hobby Lobby and saving pins off Pinterest for new recipes she will never make.. |
