About New Roots Counseling Services
New Roots Counseling Services was created in 2024 from a shared vision for a practice where evidence-based treatments are combined with the body’s own innate knowledge of how to heal itself through holistic approaches. We believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where everyone feels welcome and everyone has equal access to services. We consider it an honor and a privilege to earn the trust to walk alongside our clients through their journey of hope, healing, and growth. |

Jocelyn Pannell and Vanessa Brill met in 2014 during their BSW orientation at UALR, where they both later graduated with their respective MSW degrees. They continued to remain close friends and have supported each others’ growth and careers over the past decade. Jocelyn and Vanessa both share a love of plants and the outdoors so coupled with their friendship and collaborative effort in wanting to help others, New Roots Counseling was developed. |
